“His main theme was that the country was fucked. Largely because of Brexit. Weirdly, he has no memory of being the main architect behind the Brexit vote. He seems to think it happened in a world in which he played no part.”

Farage - the foghorn of failure.

Good morning Guy and all ORCs. It looks as though it’ll be fine today, a walk in the fresh air is needed. Just have to decide where to go.
Was all of this damage to your eye caused by a foreign body?
Good morning all. I optimistically put washing on the line yesterday, surprisingly it dried quite well. Picked up new glasses..everything is much clearer now.
I’m in need of a walk in the fresh air.
I haven’t done but maybe wish I had.
Just parked in Otley now. I’ll soon know if I made the right choice.
🤞🤞hope there are no ill effects.
Mine’s an independent too. Maybe time to switch to SpecSavers?
I kept being given the dark chunky ones to try but they seemed too much of the moment and likely to go out of fashion before I needed to replace them. Have gone for some a bit different for me..🤞🤞
I used to have that with my contact lenses..dry eye means I no longer wear them. Never thought of applying the same principle to glasses and the optician hasn’t suggested it. Have no problem with varifocals though.
Mine are varifocals, my eyes, the right one especially, have deteriorated noticeably since my last test. Just hope I like the new frames I chose. So stressful trying to decide.

Looks like extraordinary cowardice. "...following pressure from the Chinese state and a separate defamation law suit against the university, Sheffield Hallam decided not to publish a final piece of research by Prof Murphy and her team into forced labour." www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Madain Mhath C I F and all. Ghàidhlig singing starts again this evening. How else to spend a dark Monday night?
Driving over to Otley this morning to pick up my new glasses, everything will be much clearer then…I hope. Glasses are a price though aren’t they!
Have a good Monday.

The European Convention on Human Rights turns 75 tomorrow!

The @coe.int’s foremost convention is the cornerstone of all its activities, and its ratification is a prerequisite for joining the Organisation.

Charles Corrigan is accused of Murdering someone outside a train station in August this year.

Does anyone remember that happening?

No because the Media and the trolls on Social Media completely ignore crimes unless they can use them for their own racist agenda.

If you got rid of the tax benefits for billionaires/millionaires so they had to pay the same amount of tax as everyone else you would save £250bn.

If you got rid of Asylum Seekers you would save £3bn.

Silence about one, rage about the other.
Good morning #SORCs and #ORCs. A day for relaxing and catching up with myself I think.

Dominic Grieve’s response to Nigel Farage’s ‘let’s leave the ECHR’ stunt in parliament is spot on.
