Freedom of Movement didn’t mean “open borders”.
It meant equal treatment:
• Work without permits
• Rent or buy homes
• Access healthcare
• Move for love, family, or opportunity
All of that was automatic for British citizens.

Next time someone talks about protecting ‘British values’, including Nigel Farage, ask them what they are. Most of the time, you’ll find they don’t have the answer or want to give one because they don’t actually believe in them at all.
