They do, but now the money's going to be collected centrally by Revenue, meaning the councils will stand down and allow Revenue to manage it nationwide. End result is another few years of no enforcement and worsening dereliction as a result.

Dublin is plagued by derelict and vacant sites; here are some examples in and around Phibsborough, Dublin 7, as shown in my graphic.

Another record 16,353 people, including more than 5,100 children, are now accessing emergency homeless accommodation in Ireland.

Is Heather Humpthreys using her two spare homes to store boxes?

While theres 1000+ people on Housing Waiting List & only 21 homes to rent in whole of Co. Cavan (none in Cootehill)

14.1% of homes in Cavan are empty
11.8% of Cootehill homes are empty

“VAT on new apartment sales to be cut to 9% from 13.5% at cost of €250 million”

So €250million is about €19,000 less VAT on about 13,000 apartments (just 3% of urban sales price) which will most likely be absorbed by developers as another sweetener, not passed on
