family health emergencies mean I've had to pull out from trading at tomorrow's Partizan in Newark. That's a big hit to cashflow so I've just put a 10% off code on the shop to grab some orders instead - use PARTIZAN10 at Checkout to qualify. I'll ship out existing show pre-orders on Monday!

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a copy of this book since I saw it announced. Still unavailable in the UK and unable to be shipped from the publishers for international distribution, I eventually found a copy available to buy from Poland - and with very quick shipping it landed today.
The cover of the book Outside the Box: How Sweden Conquered the World of Roleplaying Games. A duck knight wearing an eye patch stands atop a mound of moldering bones in front of a yellow/orange backdrop featuring a castle most probably inspired by Castle Greyskull...

Second edition Warhammer 40,000 for me...
The contents of the Warhammer 40,000 second edition: 20 plastic Goff Space Orks; 40 Gretchin; 20 Tactical Squard Space Marines; three rulebooks; and a load of chits, markers, templates and reference sheets.

Wasn't expecting to find a copy of this in my local Waterstones. Neither was my wallet...

Warning: if you grabbed a Love Minis, Hate Fascism shirt from me/Fenris a couple of weeks ago, please make sure it was me you ordered from. Just had somebody here asking about the poor print quality of their shirt...when I've not received them from the printers yet.

Fucking scammers.

Plenty of handaxes. Not too bothered about the bones today, but they may well feature.

This new puppy isn't remotely house trained.
Giant brain squid floating out of a cluster of broken stonework. Front view as the brain squid hovers menacingly towards the viewer, tentacles reaching out and beak dripping saliva. Rear side view of the same model, partially obscured by broken stone columns.

I noticed it a few weeks ago here in Durham and I just look shit. Real shame to lose a high street stalwart. Again...

This! Rogue Hobbies Hot Pink spray from Colour Forge, Zenithal white and then Imperial First Contrast. Looks banging.

Haha! Though that’s less GW’s crap knowledge of geography and more someone shoehorning locations in late in the game and the map not being updated - the Pictish Hill aren’t labelled, so it’s gone wrong as early as No. 7! And there’s at least two entries not marked - map goes to 36, but list to 38…

Balls. I just bought the hardcover yesterday!

Well, guess I'll have to give it a read and find out it Joe deserves the extra cash...

Looks like EF/Gavin told them to stop it though, as it contained copy/pasted sections from the Dolmenwood books, so there isn't actually much available as they've pulled most of it.
judgefredd.bsky.social
I've come here to also recommend Dolmenwood. Could easily be hacked to something like Dragonbane if you didn't want to use OSE.

Hahaha! Can you imagine using them? They're so far off the ground and you'd have your legs stuck straight out in front of you...
