Akira Yamaoka was on the OST this time to no one’s surprise, and again to no one’s surprise he knocked it out of the park. Surprisingly enough he was on kind of scntfc timing with the analogue sounds throughout the early to mid games soundscape.

Silent Hill f was as good as I hoped it would be. Ryukishi is still on his a game of course but I expected no less. The way he shows Japanese ritual stuff in such a gruesome and uncomfortable way is so infinitely compelling to me, and that candy store scene was awesome.

… but not the whole thing, on account of the fact that the films aren’t currently up to their standards. It was actually really funny how much everyone was like “there can’t actually be like 30 minutes left,” and there was, they truly added an hour to a 3 and a half hour long movie
