A little torn about this, as that would put these animals at risk of being hunted by the same people proposing the solution :/ I know the intention is to help, but a pretty big disconnect when they want to save and hunt the same species

Many of the chickens rescued from the Petaluma Poultry Slaughterhouse had pododermatitis (infected feet). After they were rescued, their feet were bandaged with padding to help them heal. #RightToRescue #PerdueTrial

If we scrape the surface, we cannot fail to see how violent, how indefensible, how gratuitously despotic our ideology is. Those who then choose to continue to participate & defend it are choosing to be violent despots. There upon they rescind the right to claim to be decent or civilised.

Dairy cows are “spent” at about 4 to 5 years of age. Average lifespan 15 or more years.
Sent to slaughter because milk production is past prime.
Their “meat” (muscle tissue) does not look good enough for the supermarket. It gets ground up and sold to fast food chains.

It was like that in Canada for a few years post Covid, w the ridiculous ‘freedom fighters’ temporarily tainting the Canadian flag. However, trump’s election ‘win’ and subsequent tariff war galvanized Canadians and flags were suddenly being hung en masse for the right reasons

It is easy to be vegan, especially these days. What is really hard is to be an innocent animal born into slavery, just a commodity destined never to know love or kindness. Look inside your heart and ask yourself if you can justify supporting this ❤️
