Federal workers did not ask for this shutdown — they show up every day to serve our country. In 2019, Trump himself signed a law guaranteeing them back pay after a shutdown.

Now he's going back on his word and using their paychecks as leverage. This is illegal.

The Trump admin is now moving to effectively double the number of immigration judges by citing flimsy legal authority to deputize hundreds of totally inexperienced military lawyers to take these jobs.
