Starting to think the best way to explain that I’m not off because I don’t teach class everyday, is explaining that I can produce or I can choose to get fired by doing only one part of my job twice a week. Professors aren‘t “off” y’all.

Black folks are usually cops and they do that because it‘s a stable job with government benefits. A couple of my focus groups touch on this point but more extensive research has similar findings. I honestly haven’t seen many Black ICE agents but maybe those commercials will change that.

I want undergrads and grads to go to citation boot camp prior to regular classes. You have to know how to cite. You have to know to cite. You ain’t come up with that.
