I stressed to the grad students that they have to take ownership of their research. I’ll advise but they have to be willing to try, fail, take critique, and try again. That’s the game students.

Today a student asked me what I was teaching next semester. I told them my race course. They are hoping to join the class, schedule permitting (they major in business). I basically use intro to get the students to study about Race and Politics. I'm a big fan of indoctrination.

I think Miles has basically outgrown Paw Patrol. He hasn’t mentioned it in Awhile. I struggle with how far to go because I don’t want to burden him with adult thoughts, but sometimes…😂
