Here's my story with Ci, the prequel to current events. In some ways, I was the test run. Shit I helped him with in good faith became his tools of manipulation. Things he did to me first got refined and redone. Time to talk.

But apparently Ci has returned to Twitch, not even a new account, and fuck that. At the very least, Ci should not have access to any marginalized or vulnerability communities. He is a master manipulator, and…well, read the threads about him.

I did not want to ever have to touch on this again, it’s honestly really painful. My best streamer friend was all a front & never the person I thought he was, and it destroyed a community I cared about. But it’s far worse for the people he painted as abusers, when it was truly Ci.

Not to beat a dead horse but Ci's back on Twitch in case anybody wants to ban/block him preemptively. I was looking at my blocked users on Steam and saw he'd changed his name to his new Twitch url. I wouldn't make a fuss, just block/ban and move on.

Years ago, a Rabbi changed Yom Kippur for me forever. See, multiple times we recount our sins/the sins of our community, and as we do we beat our chest. I used to think of it as a punishing hit.

Again, many Jews will not be online for over 25 hours.

As a side note, personally I highly prefer “have a meaningful fast” over “have an easy fast,” as we are fasting for a reason and if it’s too easy I actually feel like I’m cheating, in a way. But that’s a personal preference.

Sleep deprivation really does make everything else worse, and worsened chronic pain absolutely makes sleep harder. Working to get back out of this vicious cycle.
