This is all so valid. As someone with chronic fatigue and exhaustion, it literally takes ALL my spoons just to draw, and I eat into more spoons having to post to multiple platforms.

By the end of posting to multiple platforms, I've already spent 2-3 hours typing and retyping information over and over, and eaten into spoons I don't have (causing severe burnout). I don't have the leftover energy to then write paragraphs of detailed descriptions about my art too.

Most artists trying to survive are already living on scraps and deficit energy levels. Shaming us for not doing more is counterproductive at best, and outright hostile at worst.

Yes, forcing users to upload documents for age verification is going to end very badly.

Collecting sensitive documents, like ID is an especially bad idea.

Do not collect shit that you do not need to collect, ever.

If it's not collected it can't be leaked.

Our nervous & endocrine systems don't care if we, or anybody else, think whatever happened to us was "actually" trauma. Even if it was just "everyday life," we have to deal w/ its impact on us specifically.

Shame & "shoulds" won't change the work ahead. It is what it is.
