I know this is a dark time for the arts but I also want to let you know that there are lots of creatives that are doing well! When I reach out to hire artists I OFTEN get turned down b/c they are booked solid, or swamped with work. It's not a hopeless field! People need art and we shouldn't give up!

I think ppl don't realize the amount of stuff happening that's NOT posted on the internet.

There is so much happening by just word of mouth. Look for the movements happening in your own circles, in your own cities. Look up from your phone and look around man.

A PayPal call center supervisor said they actually completely agree with me. They said that if enough people call PayPal they would be forced to take notice. I explained the Patreon/Itch/Steam situation and they said they're a creative themselves & that they hope the situation improves.
