Worked on a new lifting program with a personal trainer this morning. He is in his late 50s and really good with over-40 people who want to be strong. Having watched my mom age, I know how important strength and balance are for maintaining independence.

Many Gen-Zers “bring a new attitude to the combination of faith and politics, and many see politics as a matter of spiritual warfare,” writes Daniel K. Williams, a historian of American religion and politics.

Broke: young people like conservative Christianity

Woke: young people like progressive Christianity

Bespoke: The Book of Common Prayer 1979 of the Episcopal Church represents conservative Christianity in every way that matters (sacraments, Creed), and progressive young people like it

Top funny thing from @adapalmer.bsky.social ‘s INVENTING THE RENAISSANCE: “Filippino Lippi’s Saint Thomas Aquinas Interrupts the Annunciation to Introduce the Virgin Mary to Cardinal Carafa who paid for the painting, while patient Archangel Gabriel just has to wait.”

My very favorite thing is a chicken or turkey sandwich. I use it to elevate things like Stouffer's frozen dinners. But tonight I also dipped Fritos in it because I was in A Mood.

I feel like every time someone tries to make full puff pastry on GBBO I think about the “did it work for those people? No but it light work for us” meme.
