I think it's more troubling to me that a guy who has presumably been doing hard data analysis for 25 years hasn't been able to reliably automate any part of his workflow until AI came along

I'm just one person, and my programming needs are somewhat unusual (building various kinds of statistical forecasting models). But I'm just not seeing the consistent productivity gains from LLMs that I would have expected if you'd asked me 6 months ago.

do think the leagues at some point should implement some sort of pace of play or maximum commercial break measures. probably could drop the halftime to 15 minutes and restrict the commercial breaks like the NFL does

i can mostly rationalize not being the target audience for most tv shows, but i have to wonder who exactly the target audience is for a 9-1-1 spinoff show. it's basically the tv equivalent of a store-brand frozen dinner

the other major problem is that if that is georgia ball, georgia scored a touchdown. he literally scored it. the rules allow for a ref to look at the probable result of a play. why did they get spotted at the one yard line

also this many replays is fucking indulgent. just call the play on the field

think I really noticed this at first against Georgia Tech last year and it was *really* apparent against Notre Dame in the playoff. noticed it even more against Tennessee and Bama this year and it's like that against Auburn, too
