Hi. I used to write books with someone I loved very much. I'm trying to write books again. And a social media account is still considered important when doing that.
Honestly, I /wish/ politicians just retreated to their homes and families and only destroyed the people who deliberately sought them out.
My novella's villain was just a narcissist politician. But there's another Problem Character who ... let's just say he walked away from Omelas, came back decades later able to blow open the basement doors, did so, and has spent the past 14 years trying to sort out the balance of virtue and utility.
Q22: What is your villains problem?! 🤨
C, absolutely, always.
Q24: You have to live without one of these forever. Which one?

A: Copy + Paste
B: Undo button
C: Spellcheck
D: Control + F
Alchemy. (true of both my drafted novella that I can't bring myself to query, and the novel I'm now working on)
Q21: What’s your MC really good at?
Sidekicks and Henches. I do put forth effort when I'm writing The Guy or The Gal. But oh, when I can write the guy or gal that The Guy or Gal /counts/ on...
Q5: what are your favorite types of characters to write, describe them?
Local Boy to Inherit Town Subhed: Gods Help Him, Say Townsfolk.
Q1: describe your book/WIP as a newspaper headline article
Just nonsequentially typeytyped in the word processor, or, if i'm really being self-indulgent, e-mailed to someone, including to myself.
Q2: what’s your favorite tool for writing down your ideas?
... silly tangential thought, but can't help but notice that his stepmom designed the White House Rose Garden and wonder if he had some major emotional baggage with his stepmom that paving over said garden was meant to help.
Yeah, there's a third category: the kind of people who catch the attention of the people who become adult converts.
Granted, the world as it currently is, we'll be lucky if anyone ends up able to function without some unhealthy defense mechanisms running.
If he meant to be literal, I am legit concerned for him. If a Palestinian-American from New Jersey can't remember that this has happened before, his brain has some unhealthy defense mechanisms running.
(2) If he's legit surprised by this latest horrific nonsense, he needs to look after himself because he's got some kind of trauma-brain problem.
See, that's what's really confusing me. This gentleman is from New Jersey, is the son of a Palestinian immigrant, has personally been accused by neo-nazis of being a terrorist, and I think he's older than I. (1)
An extended family member has been through an amazing arc of personal and political growth and change these past ten years.

No one was giving her a senate candidacy (or presidential candidacy) while she was just starting to work on herself, though. I do not think it would have helped.
Does your e-mail allow for inbox rule-setting about 'send directly to trash' ?
A family member, when she was going through an overoptimistic phase, once tried to say "Well, even racist people still love their nonwhite children." And I was a bit "Linguistic question: do you mean like I love you, like I love dogs, or like I love crawfish?"
I don't think its the first one.

Thank you!
When he was a senior in high school, and I was ... a freshman or sophomore (those years get fuzzy because i wanted out so bad), Theo VonKurnatowski was a very, very pretty boy.
::looks at youtube:: Time and grooming choices /do/ things. Especially the latter.
Ack, sorry for the sudden interrogation. Brain integrating freezing-blackout memories and hurricane memories, and of course you know what those are like and are also dealing with it right now.
Oh gosh. All the power with it? does your bedroom have windows?

...I hate to say it, but what kind of oven do you have?
Managing somehow, and hoping the same for you!

We went to the same high school for one year (the school i desperately wanted to get out of and did). He was voted "Most Attractive." If he were still that pretty, I'd understand better why he's all over youtube.
Fantastic and flourished points by these young men.

I can just never get over the fact that Theo VonKurnatowski grew up to be a public figure.
