Another example of this is them begging to fry them damn turkeys every year. I only know like two men that can fry a turkey for real the rest just outside conducting science experiments with the main dish

I have the same aversion for people pleasers as I do narcissists bc I was a ppl pleaser born from narcissists. I existed as more of a service to others than as a human being. I came out of it not knowing who I was bc my only expectation was to be perceived like-able and low maintenance.
