I got contacted today by a student that quit lessons like a year and a half ago (and I thought had quit band), and we start lessons again tomorrow. I count that as a major win! ❤️

I’ll have to check this out. I was properly diagnosed with OCD this year, and it was a breath of fresh air; meaning I had been thinking I was FAILING at GAD treatment for 22 years. I wasn’t “bad enough” to ever have anything but an intern therapist for longer than 9 week to notice patterns.

I was going to go to this game with some girlfriends, but we skipped on account of the weather. But now I’m kinda sad I nailed, but Al and I are planning on going to the Halloween game.

It’s gonna be pan red 1/2 glazed / 1/2 mixed over pan black with gold shimmer on top. And two different greens mixed for a really Gothic, “old world” leafs. I think I’m going to use a touch of light brown to tone down the orange.

It’s gonna be Metalsmithing November. If I prep on the first, saw blanks out on the weeks, make 4-5 cuffs each weekend (2 at Pullen, 2 at Sertoma for specific equipment), I can finish my Christ gifts / current artist exchanged in time to be able to enjoy December.
