This is electoral equivalent of being penny smart and pound foolish.

Marginal seats won’t matter if you can’t even convince your base to vote for you. Indeed, Labour can’t even agree on who its base is anymore.

I think the McSweeney strategy is the right one, because most marginal seats are Labour-Reform contests

on the whole, writing for programmers is a deeply frustrating exercise

they read essays like they're a compiler, stopping at the first word they don't understand and spitting out error messages
