I tried something similar on my own with the Visble app. I didnt find it any more effective at avoiding PEM than just being aware of other body signals. And it stressed me out to tie my awareness to that alarm which went off constantly. If I was moving enough to trigger it, it’s because I had no 1/2

Sounds familiar to ME patients. Every routine test is normal even though nothing works normally!

I’m a vet, I use them on cats/dogs so YMMV. They can give false readings if not applied correctly. And I’m sure for other reasons. Extreme readings should be verified with a glucometer. If those low readings are verified, you need an immediate evaluation for possible causes of hypoglycemia.

I’m sorry, I’m not up on the CGM or the reason you are wearing it? Are you on a med that can lower glucose? Do you have a glucometer to verify the readings? If these readings are accurate, they are seriously low and you should alert your Dr.

I’m guessing all of those cardiac disease risk calculators are based on rates of atherosclerotic plaque formation in men as well, so not very accurate for women?

I called my local CVS yesterday and they told me Novavax was no longer available because it lost its emergency authorization. No amount of arguing could convince them that it is in fact FDA approved now. I was told “google it”. 😡 So my search continues.

I’ve never read of a link between ME and renal dysfunction. Is this something that progresses to clinical or does it remain sub-clinical I wonder?

Agreed. I have to fly from PA to FL to see my ME Dr. I count myself very fortunate to have even found a Dr anywhere to help me and that I have sufficient physical and financial capability to do it, but it is a significant drain on me for weeks. Telehealth appts would be so much easier.
