I did one of these on Twitter, so it only makes sense to plug myself here. My name is Peter and I've been writing in the games industry for various outlets since 2016. I've had the honor of attending various conventions including PAX and E3, and I love doing interviews with devs about their games.

She looks better with the darker skin.

It is a good quote, though. It maybe doesn't quite apply to the modern era, but I appreciate the wisdom of not rushing things out the door.

I know Ayane was 16 in DOA3, though I have no idea if anyone is older now. After 4, I really stopped caring about the series and the last two games haven't been great.

I think it depends on what you like in films, because I enjoyed 2 more. 1 didn't sit right with me the first time I watched it, but I talked it over with Frankie and I have a completely different perspective on the movie. It's riveting, even if grimy and unlikable.

I just played that and I’m not sure if any of the characters really strike me as sexualized. I did appreciate that your character could romance almost everyone, though, including Ryoma.

I remember the commercials for DOA3 where it was just guys on a couch marveling at how high Kasumi kicks.

I can't believe I'll be 38 next year. I don't want to be old, lol.

I can't stand the Rachel chapters. I feel they completely ruin the pacing of the game. I'm not sure what you dislike about Black, though, as nothing in it is ever worse than "fine."

Now that I look at the numbers, Legacy didn’t even fail. It actually made quite a bit of money. The problem was the era it released it, since Disney was starting to see $700 mil+ releases and the MCU was taking off. Disney then bought that and buried Tron despite people wanting more.

What? Are you high or something? The platforming isn’t great, but the game is not shit. Sigma makes it worse, too, especially with regard to pacing.

Yes, sadly. Dotemu isn’t involved with the PIF, but SNK is and they license it.

They wrote failed original, but that’s not the case. Off a budget of around $17 million, Tron made $50 million. That’s not gangbusters, but marketing budgets weren’t as extreme in 1982. It did pretty well, overall.

The first movie didn’t fail. It made a decent chunk of change in 82, but was overshadowed by every other sci-fi film of the era.

It's been cooked since Alien 3.

I can personally relate to the basic plot of Tron Ares because it tells the story of a weirdo guy who falls in love with Greta Lee at first sight.

Movie is okay, though. Not particularly good, but the soundtrack is dope.

But what about Wacky Races?
kingsigy.bsky.social
That is probably what it is. I had a similar discussion with some other writers as I’ve always found women being digitized to not match their real-life counterparts. I guess makeup is more powerful than I realized.

But the game sold 1.6 million copies. I don’t get what he means, lol.
kingsigy.bsky.social
Oh yeah. Got another job application rejection. Love that.
kingsigy.bsky.social
For some reason, I don’t see it. I know they face modeled the character, but Atsu looks different enough that I’m convinced they are different people. It’s weird.
kingsigy.bsky.social
I have no idea how the left one is even appealing.
kingsigy.bsky.social
Another reason

-Cultic is actually good
-But yeah, supporting a genocide supersedes everything else
kingsigy.bsky.social
But are you face to face with the man who sold the world? I guess you can’t be.
kingsigy.bsky.social
It only takes place a year after the third game, so Layton isn’t much older.
