About me: My name is Erika McCorkle, but I also go by Kira of the Wind online. Feel free to call me by either name. I’m open to cute nicknames, too
I am a millennial, internetting since 2003.
I have been writing/worldbuilding since the 90s
I am genderfluid and fictosexual, but she/her pronouns work just fine

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology
Work the night shift at a blood bank as a lab tech
Taught myself Japanese, but I’ve forgotten much of what I once knew
Big fan of fantasy (games, books, anime, etc.)
I spend free time writing, reading, watching anime, or playing video games

I write fantasy that takes place in a queernormative world (meaning a world where being queer is normal and accepted).

Shallot greets a new customer, who first stops at the bulletin board and looks at the wanted posters...

“Welcome to the Good Thyme Inn,” she said, opening her ledger to the day’s business accounts. “Room for one?”
The man paused in front of the wanted posters. The Plecopteran and the Homopteran with an unpronounceable name stared into their viewer with hard, criminal eyes.
“Dear me, these scoundrels sound dangerous! Have you had any encounters with them?”
Shallot subdued her irritation at the man not getting straight to business. If she claimed to have seen the people on the wanted poster, would he leave?
“I have not,” she replied. “Our town is quite safe, and this is the only inn in either direction of the road for about five hours of riding by horse…”
She hoped he got the hint.

Haha, at least watch them once 😂 but if you're binging, they're gonna get old after a while (anime have 1:30 long OPs. I don't think cartoons have long ones, but idk what She Ra does sooo idk)

Not all of them. The recipient can take it to a church and get the process done, but unless they plan to travel or live in bumfuck nowhere, there's little reason for it. In any town of decent size, they'll have a Godlight that covers the area

I'm utterly unbothered by anything, but as soon as an eye is about to get tortured, I get fucking squicked tf out. Moreso in visual media (movies, tv, manga) and less in books, thankfully

This in particular is something sooooo important to me, not just in books but any media. So many anime and video games fall flat to me because characters don't react to each other the way they should

The thing about being a merchant of light is that you get crystalights and can technically do whatever you want with them, LOL. So Amiere often gifts them to people and it's considered a HUGE FUCKING DEAL cuz crystalights are like... a lifetime thing.

For real, I always look up strats online to see what other people recommend 😭 If it's an example of "any way is valid, do whatever" I tend to gravitate toward intelligence/wisdom type builds
