hiiii I entered another game jam. this time I joined the #ShovelJam, and me + two other people (linked below) made a thing! I had a much smaller role, having done some art assets and the player/bird models but I'm quite happy w/ it regardless lol

genuinely 10/10 game. I'm sure even once recency bias wears off it'll still hover around 9.5.
I experienced a couple minor slowdowns, but since I wasn't in an online race they didn't really affect me. I experienced exactly One crash and that's when I was in the character select at the very start LOL

I think the main mod I wanna try making is a model swap for miku based on her sai love jinsei runner outfit. potentially as a skin if people can get custom skin slots figured out. I need more high-poly modelling experience LOL

hey warning for the subnautica fans out there (or just steam users in general) if you get a dm on steam from your friend inviting you to a playtest Do Not Visit The Site this is internet safety 101 but a looot of people are still super gullible lmao

"Here's a playtest for Subnautica 2, you won't need code as you're being invited by a steam friend, you can claim it and add it to your library for free, but you can't refund it." alongside a link. I responded with a screenshot of the virustotal scan with the message "nice try bud" just because I was feeling a lil cheeky I guess lol

virustotal scan. fortinet marked it as a "phishing" link, which means a link passing as something it's not (such as a company website) to steal personal info such as account passwords, credit/debit card details, etc.

the game she was originally for was a game inspired by/based on gasa4 but focused more around dreams. this new game idea I have also focuses on dreams, but it's in a totally different genre that I actually grew up with, however the main games I played in said genre haven't exactly aged well... </3
