I love the movie "A Simple Plan", but I always thought it would have been better (and done better at the box office) if Bill Paxton had been swapped out for Bill Pullman. All joking aside, Paxton was at his best in comedic roles and Pullman plays moral ambiguity with finesse.
Pick a movie that could have been great. Recast ONE role to fix it.

Mine is "The Godfather- Part 3," recasting Sophia Coppola (great director, but should not have been given this role) with Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Manifestos are generally a red flag.
Edgar Wright is wonderful and the first movie was just a star vehicle. This looks like it "gets" the brilliance of the premise.
