Like I assume yes the risk for Maryland residents is there because they commute to DC, but there’s a strategy to this, see the Congress delegation in Broadview.

I bet we’ll see a lot of Dem participation in NoKings rallies next week.

Also while they live in DC they don’t represent there, wouldn’t it make sense for you to be arrested fighting in your district, not somewhere you don’t represent?

but b) while we don’t have a majority in the house or senate enough absences easily tips the scales. Do you want the budget to pass as is because a senator is in jail etc?

I think the calculus here is mostly driven by the need for an extra governmental resistance or party leadership.

My only problem with this, and shotguns as anti UAV in general is the balloons move FAR too slow compared to a S UAS.

I’m all for issuing effective counter drone systems, but these shotguns are a woobie, and absolutely last resort.
