ZOMG. I had not heard that one. Yes! My teenager this morning said there are two types of people who don’t like Taylor - 1 who is like, she’s not my preference so I don’t listen to her, and the other knows every lyric and has spent time analyzing her songs and then shitting on them in great detail 🤣

I know we know but THIS IS SO FUCKED UP. That judge’s transphobia, the “victim” language, his quote: “…felt he had part of his masculinity taken away” - 🤢🤢🤮🤮

Not to mention this coverage - they just had to get this in: “She said Watkin, whose parents were drug addicts who neglected her…”

The MAGA interpretation is just wild. I suppose they look for misinterpretation everywhere! I think it’s a lot of pressure to put on an artist to make sure something can’t be twisted by them - esp one who’s already been so vocally anti-Cheetoh.

Said as a very binary trans guy - same. I’d never want to be a cis guy. The combination of lived experiences I’ve had, and the unique lens that I now get to see everything through - I’d never trade it.
