Keaton had been in the industry for decades, going back to 1970 with her film debut “Lovers and Other Strangers.” But she got her big break in “The Godfather” when she played Kay Adams-Corleone.

Over her career, Keaton was known for her collaborations with directors Woody Allen and Nancy Meyers.
