i don't really know how to add OBS' PPA in MX and they don't play nicely with ubuntu's repos anyway 😭

MX does offer an obs-studio package in their repo but it's without browser source

also if possible i'm trying to avoid the flatpak version since i'd like to install a bunch of plugins on it

there's untapped market potential here for a stream alerts app in linux, but yeah, i didn't realize how much twitch streamers rely on browser sources until after i move to linux-

overdrive mechanic in fortnite festival is painful (and so is combo-based scoring but at least you don't have to worry about that if you get full combos)

i think i'm figuring out quite a few things from this test drive of linux distros:

- i like customizing linux! but
- i don't think rolling releases play nice with my kind of work

it turns me off so much that i have to spend hours on a workaround just because conflicts block system updates

so endeavourOS has actually been great, but i do have one blocker that made me think that perhaps i might prefer slower updates in actual daily use

i might *once again* hop on to another distro with more stability rather than rolling release and see how that goes
