I realize plenty of people get famous in their 30's. I don't particularly want to be famous so much as live a good life. I'd like to have intimate friendships and long lasting connections. Fame is somewhat hollow from what i've experienced of it.

The thing about open mic comedy in denver is it's a very sad scene most times. The funniest times are riffing in the smokers section so I'd chain smoke out there and then people would get mad i missed their set.

I didn't realize you had to call comedy works back so I missed my slot for their mic

Turns out this is two hours long. Sam Talent is on this episode behind the table. I used to go to his open mic on colfax like 12 years ago. This guy Jordan Daal told me not to give up. Another guy came to a Christmas open mic and did a whole set about how great it is to give up on comedy. I gave up

I think it's pretty rude of them and some of them aren't cool. Had to cut some people loose.

But honestly, i'm much more guarded, jaded, and resentful then I once was. In ways, I put up with less shit. In others I don't allow myself the same joy and connection I once did. Is it cool? Who cares?

It's actually funny because when the whole surveillance weirdness started, I asked "is this because i'm the holy ghost?" And boy did that make them ratchet up the insanity.

Over a year later and i'm still clownin on their asses. There isn't anything that'll justify what they're doing though
