Stevie not going back to Rangers then
ladysg.bsky.social
Yum, sounds good
ladysg.bsky.social
I hope you really enjoy it

Which one did you get?
ladysg.bsky.social
Oh great. We have Long Tailed Tits back on our feeders. They leave the garden in the summer, so it's lovely when they return

What did you have to eat tonight?
ladysg.bsky.social
Evening Jonathan

While we wait, we're having Indian spiced cottage pie with green beans and currently listening to Fleetwood Mac and late Robins singing in the dusk outside

Evening Ian @paddington64.bsky.social

Scenes from the SG kitchen
Lord SG goes for something from the fridge: aaah the green beans
Me: ♫green beans are made of this...
as Lord SG joins in after half of a split second

Lord SG: see, this is why we're so in tune!

Very pretty colour

NOOOOOO?!! Christmas decorations up in the first half of October? I honestly can't believe it
ladysg.bsky.social
Technically this means multiple Mrs Wagons, as if there were only two it'd be Mrs Wagon The Elder and Mrs Wagon The Younger

Perhaps Will's more of a dark horse than he lets on? 😉 Wouldn't want to be paying their lunch bill!
ladysg.bsky.social
Yeah, if they got that on CCTV now there would be trouble 😆
ladysg.bsky.social
@stevenperkins.bsky.social Prepare to take your outrage up a few notches!
willwagon.bsky.social
Out with Mrs Wagon the youngest and waiting for sister in law and two of her boys to join us

And yes your ideas do not deceive you that is a fucking Christmas tree!

Cheers btw x

Crikey, one in particular sounds crazy

Lord SG says he'd want to know they were suspended while under investigation. He then said next time I went to Costco I'd go in my pants*

* I wouldn't take advice from him to be fair 🤣
ladysg.bsky.social
prepared to request regional manager and CEO details and escalate a complaint

Be prepared to see it through and ask that they keep any CCTV until the whole situation is fully resolved
ladysg.bsky.social
I'd hold fire on reviewing anywhere and play the long game. I'd inform the Manager that I want to be kept fully informed of the investigation and the outcome, pending a resolution that's satisfactory to you involving a full and above all genuine apology

Dependent on the outcome of that, I'd be
ladysg.bsky.social
Goodness, that sounds horrific

So other than kind of agreeing with you, what did the Manager have to say?
ladysg.bsky.social
They're lovely

I have an Acer that I bought years ago from Morrisons for probably less than £10-12. It's enormous now
ladysg.bsky.social
I'd have to sit with my back to that! How very dare they. It's not been Halloween or Bonfire Night yet!

Have a nice lunch anyway, despite it
ladysg.bsky.social
Thank you, it's very natural

The difference in growth astounds and fascinates me. Same supplier, same sunlight, everything. I mean you could say because they're nearer a line of massive trees, but the whole garden's surrounded by mature trees, including some Oak as well as the row of Poplar
ladysg.bsky.social
It's really hard to believe that these two Maples and two Silver Birch were planted on the same day (2005) One pair have grown enormously and the other pair, nearer the tree line, have hardly grown at all by comparison
#trees #gardening #nature #naturalworld #Autumn #Fall
Down at the bottom of our garden the entrance to the woodland is framed by trees we planted in 2005. Glorious colours from the Maple on our left and the Silver Birch on our right still retains most of its leaves. 11 October 2025 The Silver Birch on our right with the very thin trunk and the Maple behind it are also 20 years old - planted on the same day as the tall pair.
Behind is a huge Cedar and part of the line of Poplar trees. Just seen in the background a Lutyens style bench, painted a greyish blue
ladysg.bsky.social
that's such a romantic thought

I asked because I don't think I've ever seen a medieval keepsake box or treasure chest (jewellery box size, not pieces of eight size)
ladysg.bsky.social
So sweet. Would that be for some kind of keep safe box or similar?
ladysg.bsky.social
That's the essence of it. Nature, untamed by man

It's why my favourite season, is, and always has been, Spring
All the rebirth despite however harsh winter's been. Mother Nature always rises to the challenge
