I know folks like to go "never shade with black", but I think it all depends on what you're trying to go for.

If anyone's curious about how I shade in blacks and whites, I go with a really light or really dark color. Then I go with either white as a hightlight for light colors or black as a shadow for dark colors.

I'm using purple here for example, but the color can vary depending on what I'm going for.

A light cloud shape on top and a dark cloud shape below. The lighter shape is colored. with light purples and white while the dark cloud shape uses darker purples and black.

The light one is accompanied by the words "white is a highlight" while the darker one is accompanied with "black is a shadow"

On a different note, I've still got my eye on Legends ZA.

So I finally beat Ages, and yeah the ending feels a lot more satisfying here (now to play the games in the opposite order)

As I've said, Ages has better puzzles. However, I think I still prefer Seasons for its item selection and how big Holodrum feels in comparison.
