Built on an early version of the Build engine, TekWar ambitiously attempted to tackle open world missions and stealth-driven shooting. Sadly, labyrinthian level design and busted game logic keep it stuck in cryo-prison.

"Ruin" also means "completely trivialize the whole game." Unintended exploits can become community-made game mechanics/tactics which is great, but beating a race in ten seconds or gaining invulnerability without trying isn't really fun.

I decided that if I ever made a game where some people decided to do speedruns for it using exploits, I'd only patch those that 1.) a normal person could easily do accidentally and 2.) would ruin their experience.

Never forget that Norman Rockwell, debatably the most famous American artist to ever put brush to canvas, was not afraid to show the ugliness along with the good. Having his work/reputation sanitized and trimmed into marketable nostalgia is about American as it gets.
