I’m old enough to remember when we had a system of checks & balances that involved Congress, when Congress controlled the purse and legislated, and the president respected the Constitution & rule of law. I’m old enough to remember when a U.S. president wouldn’t want to be King George or a dictator.

On the Charlie Kirk show, Vought said federal firings could hit “north of 10,000” during the shutdown.

Companies lay people off to survive. This is different. He sounded like he’s enjoying the chance to fast-track his agenda. This isn’t about saving money, it’s about sabotaging the government.

Exactly! He's hogged the stage, elbowed out other younger, natural leaders who are less caustic and stayed way past his welcome in Democratic circles.
Yes, he has good ideas, but he always delivers them like a grumpy grampa, with finger wagging and doom.

If Johnson had any integrity, he would've censured the abusive Mills and removed him from the House. He's so scared of losing power that he ignores the abuse and crimes of his party. Including trump's crimes against his oath.

Congress should not be paid for not doing their job. Most of trump's admin doesn't need the salary for their position because they're already million/billionaires. Meanwhile, the economy has gone to pot.

The fact there’s a man in our White House who constantly expresses his hatred for half of the country and makes clear his desire to strip away programs supported by Democrats should tell millions & millions why they need to be a part of the No Kings protest if they still believe in America.
