I love that classical music is going through a "reclaim" via YouTube playlists with titles such as "You've got two minutes before the essay is due" and "You're playing chess with death and he's about to win".

It really sucks that snob gatekeepers framed classical as high brow music so now any time you talk about it, people assume you're trying to signal intellect

But the music itself isn't pretentious, thats cultural baggage. I just like it when sounds are arranged in a cool way, like any other genre

Poor Momo is just going through it at the moment. Emergency vet visit last night because he was refusing to eat yet clearly wanted to. Vet said all his vitals were fine. Gave him an anti-nausea injection. This morning, still nothing, and he's struggling to eat. Back to the vet. :(

Morning did not go as planned! Momo had to have a trip to the vet because he refuses to poop. Thankfully, the vet thinks some medicine will be enough to help him.

Just discovered that Momo likes eating medicine. What a weirdo. 🤣
