I don’t mind the wobbly sets and crude effects, but I don’t want to see the picture covered in video tape drop out, or the film inserts covered in dirt.

That’s not what the creators intended!

I’m in favour of them being remastered to the best quality that’s possible to get from the original materials. We’re all watching on much bigger screens than back in the day and they’re much less forgiving of flaws.

Oh lovely! I am trying to reduce what I bring up but I'm not going to just give it away for free this end, so if it does end up in the van you can have it.
