I bet if you get to the gym the day will roll on for you from there, and will be more productive than you feel like now.
It’s a bit of a dismal monochrome Monday.
I don't get it at all, winds me up so bad sometimes.
The autocorrect system is infuriating.
I'm firmly hoping there's a place for her in a future "Legacy" or other Trek series.
We might not think that had the 1970 caves been shot in HD.
I admire you for attempting to go on dates (or whatever this is 👀), I've now been single for well over a year and still absolutely cannot be bothered.
I wasn't talking to you. 🤣
Not sure if you read this novel, it came out before First Contact and I think it has much interesting telling of mid-21st century history and Zefram Cochrane lore.
Exactly, and I'm sure it being captured on 35mm film, which is such a beautiful medium, really helps sell it as well.
I’ve seen a lot of of his videos actually, they’re great.

I think what I love about the 90s model shots especially is that they are real filmed elements, but the compositing is digital, so it’s really sharp and you don’t get the rough edges. Makes it look so realistic when done by pros like ILM.
Yeah I have a soft spot for Insurrection but it does not look spenny. Some of the CGI spacecraft shots look really rough.
I never really loved Voyager so it took the Picard series to make me fall for Seven.
Yep, Generations feels twice as expensive as any of the three that followed.
In First Contact it’s basically just the Enterprise E and the Montana forest village. Feels quite small.
I think it also feels epic and big budget because of the number of locations, we get the dry dock, the Enterprise B, the sailing ship Enteprise, a significantly upgraded Ent-D, the solar observatory, the Bird of Prey, Veridian 7, Picard’s Christmas fantasy, Kirk’s country fantasy, it’s just huge.
The lighting and camerawork is really fantastic. I was blown away in the cinema in 1995 by just how much better than the series it looked, it’s really was a massive step up to the cinema screen.
The saucer slide out is INTENSE.
Yes I reckon an AI enhancement is probably our best hope now, it’s got to be cheaper than completely post producing the entire series again, especially as all the CGI shots from the later seasons don’t have any “original elements” to rescan.
TNG looks so fantastic in HD. I’m rewatching DS9 again. Oh and it’s such a shame they couldn’t redo it as it looks so murky and rough.
Definitely give it another go. It still looks stunning 30 years later.
