I'm not justifying it. I'm saying quit shitting on people who are actually doing something as best they can. Theory doesn't work in the streets. A protest like this actually justifies what Stephen Miller wants to do. The outdoor mass, not so much, but defying orders to stay off the street? Yeah.

Dude, the last No Kings protest had "virtually no antifa presence"? Who did you think was there? It wasn't the Proud Boys. Everybody in that crowd was antifa or they wouldn't have been there. The next one is going to be wall to wall antifa too.

We could also stop demonizing people who are, in fact, standing up to fascists even if they don't do it in the way we personally think they ought to. Purity tests like this only cause division and we can't afford that right now. Stop expecting perfection.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
