I want her to say there are infinite genders on the floor of the House. I want her to invite racialized trans people to join her and tell their stories. I want her to challenge every rule they pass against her and I want her to break them on purpose.

I want her to highlight the experiences of Black and Brown trans people. I want her to refuse to answer any address to her that isn't with a feminine honorific. I want her introducing bills to save lives in our community.

And I want her to stop supporting Israel.

What do I want from Sarah McBride?

I want her to fight for trans people. I want her to talk about what trans kids are going through every day. I want her to ask why a trans person has to be white and cis passing to get into Congress.

Sarah McBride is trans. She's also as privileged as a trans person can possibly be in the US. She's mostly cis passing. She's white. She's binary. But most of all, she's wealthy and she has access to healthcare most trans people don't and security most trans people will never have,

This year's Nobel Peace Prize winner was an apt choice. An islamophobic Zionist who rubs shoulders with Europe's far-right including Geert Wilders and Marie Le Pen and who has expressed support for a renewed Reconquista. Europe's direction of travel encapsulated.

They are not planning "a violent crackdown" on 10.18. What they are doing is sending a signal to their shock troops to try to cause havoc. But those shock troops will be vastly outnumbered. Go out and protest freely. Do not be cowed.
