I was 34 years of age when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, which was treated by having a mastectomy only. My husband decided & I agreed we would not wait for retirement to travel, etc. The blessing was that when we received my MBC diagnosis at 56, we did not have any regrets.

I totally agree with you, Sid. I find it very concerning that people are so consumed with hate for others. Many of the issues across the political spectrum are caused by a total lack of empathy, which allows us to see others as less than human. When we give in to hate, it lessens us as individuals.

Yesterday's Supreme Court decision endangers our communities and subjects people to immigration stops simply because of the color of their skin, occupation, or the language they speak.

This fight isn't over. Our right to live free from racial profiling is fundamental.

I often feel that way, too. We've had more rain this summer, but we're still experiencing drought conditions. Wildfires started by dry lightning strikes are always a concern.

As my #MBC has progressed, I have struggled to focus my eyes & brain to read. Encouraged by my niece, I started listening to audio books last fall.
This year, I have listened to 31 books. Who knew a library card could bring so much joy! Just finished Home Front by Kirstin Hannah. #books
