Bet you forgot how crazy Manifest is. This Standard Simic build plays stupidly large creatures for basically FREE starting turn 2. And Turn three happens a LOT on MTG Arena games.

In other words....would doubling season be nice in the turtle precon....considering what we seen so far...yeah, that appears to be the case. Would rhystic study be good for the bant precon.....it's rhystic study, it's pretty much good in any deck with blue in it.

I think for me...the Doubling Season is very similar to FF's Rhystic study in that.
1. Flavorfully it does not make a lick of sense with the alternate art.
2. Provide a powerful card that with the art complimenting the theme of the precon its upgrading then the card itself being the flavor win.

It also lets you wheel on turn 3 with Slickshot Showoff which is pretty good for giving mono-red longer range if they cant close out quickly enough.

I mean...in the right deck...this can draw you up to three cards and put upward of three counters....on each of your creatures......yeah, this is pretty solid rainbow commander. Need to consider this for changelings.

It's a nice chunky three drop that can help aristocrat/mayhem/madness brews. I like this. Keeping my eye on this for standard in the right brew. Also, nice to use to help station cards.

Raph's Technique seems to imply a cycle, though I could be wrong here.

This card seems clearly balanced for multi-player environments though it is worth noting that Slick Shot Showoff is used in standard aggro, and this gives Aggro a full reload giving them longer range should they sputter out

So we have in standard access to wheel of fate...that perfect for pixie style deck designs....

It will at least be tested out in mardu pixie. For commander, very solid as well. Never take a wheel for granted. If needed, you will cast this for six mana at the end of a opponent's turn though.

Nice to get a bonus sheet reprint of this....though...I be honest...the art while famous artwork from the series...is kind of peculiar with the thematics/mechanics of the card. Still, I guess if you want a flavorful doubling season to add to the turtle commander deck...this does work.

Six mana 8/8 trample essentially...that tricky to remove and gets bigger later in the game. Some commander decks are going to like this type of card quite a bit honestly. Be fun for the board game as well.
