So the sort of thing I am looking for for my Normal Man deck is cards that look mundane or evoke very "normal" stuff. Maybe not voltron, just stuff that is like.. idk... normal.

Witness Protections and like the guy with a sandwich and so on.

I joke about Yoked Ox a lot but really, bad cards matter so much. I agree with @the-trinket-mage.bsky.social here, I really hope spiderman is more of the new norm preferably with less legends.

Like the chase cards in that set are an Unblockable Looter and a mana rock which is pretty tame.

I wish there was a Black Mage commander that didn't make me feel bad for playing them. I really like pointy hat wizards, but these ones just aren't fun.

All they do is damage people and that isn't what I wanted to do :(

I actually made a screen of a faux-pixel art game I called "Little Turtle in the Big City" that only uses the standard NES colours. Tho it's an 8bit game, a fake 16-bit system is connected, complete with dino stickers on the controller (another hand-me-down from me, as I did this as a kid :) )

By turn 3 Mono-Red wants to be like, entirely out of cards, anything left in hand has been wasted by the end of turn 3 it feels like so giving them the chance to draw 7 new cards is kind of terrifying.

I can't fully evaluate this card because each player wheels but, this reads really well.

It also lets you wheel on turn 3 with Slickshot Showoff which is pretty good for giving mono-red longer range if they cant close out quickly enough.

Raph's Technique seems to imply a cycle, though I could be wrong here.

This card seems clearly balanced for multi-player environments though it is worth noting that Slick Shot Showoff is used in standard aggro, and this gives Aggro a full reload giving them longer range should they sputter out

It will at least be tested out in mardu pixie. For commander, very solid as well. Never take a wheel for granted. If needed, you will cast this for six mana at the end of a opponent's turn though.

The choice to only have one commander deck for TMNT is interesting... I wonder how well the deck will represent the set and if maybe this could be a thing going forward.

I don't dislike this idea too much as hopefully it will encourage play design to focus on balance across sets rather than in pods
