In no way could I be trusted to know which card is which. I clicked away from the screen and already dont know which card is in standard or what one the tthe -1/-1 thing and which does the not that thing.

I wont lie tournament drama is always a little funny to me... folks like to pretend one format or another has more drama or whatever but remember like the Francis Table Flip Meme predated Commander's adoption by wizards and Control has always been kinda hated.

Last night someone commented on how much I laugh while playing my Turbo Fog deck in pauper and my Value Vintage Kitchen deck and like... its true I do and really I think its true of so many control players.

A big part of why EDH itself works right now is because of solid leadership from a few very friendly friends trying to have fun.
cEDH folks have whined every time someone brings up that it is its own format and refused to do the reasonable thing and take responsibility for the format instead (1/x)

there is simply no unification among players of that format as to what they want the format to be and what expectations they have around it

I will need to find a good pay off or synergy package in my bulk commons that isnt just extra turbo fog stuff which will be difficult I am sure.

I play Turbo Fog because it is a very silly archetype. Its incredibly non-serious, like going to the LGS in the funny mustache glasses.
Its competitive but only if both people play fast or have unlimited time. My opponents take long enough that my insecurities start to prick up

Funny enough I am actively of the mind that "Midrange isnt an Archetype" cuz even like its proto champion Jund and Murktide often read more like control decks to me they just run fewer sweepers and dont need to clear the plate before eating.
Had a game last night that has me wanting to propose an idea for a commander Archetype outside of Aggro, Combo, Control and Midrange and its almost commander exclusive.
The "Value" Archetype looks like a lot of Control decks in 60 card, but runs minimal or no interaction, instead just looping value

Gotcha.... this is 16 mana Door to Nothing someone... Hilarious card, I love it and knowing that its functional cap is 16 (or 18 vs Battle of Wits) makes the headache go away big time lol.

The "Value" Archetype looks like a lot of Control decks in 60 card, but runs minimal or no interaction, instead just looping value
