First Knot in the PBC area this year (I think) was found by @weedonsworld.bsky.social this morning on East Pit, Deeping Lakes, Lincs. Didn’t seem to hang around long, as no further sign by 9.20am @birdguides.bsky.social @rarebirder.bsky.social @lincsbirding.bsky.social @justwildimages.bsky.social

I found a Knot in the misery and drizzle this morning, at Deeping Lakes LWT, Lincs (seems typical weather for these scarce inland wanderers to drop in around the Peterborough area). A year tick for me, I think it is the first we have had locally, this year. @lincsbirding.bsky.social

A dull #JourneytoWork this morning was brightened by having this beauty fly, at low level, alongside the car for more than 500m. #LincsBirding #Lincolnshire @lincsbirding.bsky.social @lincswildlife.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social

Had a little time in the garden as the birds re-appear for winter. I missed out on getting images of Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Goldfinch & Greenfinch, will keep trying as they start to come into garden to feed more regularly. @lincsbirding.bsky.social @lincswildlife.bsky.social #Birds #UKBirding

A couple of days midweek spent at Gib Pt in easterlies; not the hoped for scarcity bird-wise, but not bad either, the highlight being potentially a reserve first in a Vagrant Emperor hunting the dunes.
