As a result, their Avg Depth of Target went way down (dropped 4 yds!)

It still worked. Completion % even went up.

But when there’s no time for longer routes to develop, you HAVE to be better on those short throws to make up for the lack of explosives.

There’s less room for error.

I think the loss of Decker is potentially huge for DET this week.

Last wk, without Decker, the #Lions Time to Pressure came down.

Sack rate went up: from 3% to 14%.

As a result, their Time to Throw came down. (Had to get ball out faster.)

I’ve been preparing to do a show on injured OTs and the ways their loss affected their offense. Got team splits for Time to Throw, EPA/play, pressure rate, and ADOT with & without injured player in a matter of moments.

That would have been a good 1/2 day project before. (2/3)

My son's in a survivor league.

He wanted to pick the Cowboys.

I had just seen the line movement. Told him the Cowboys were down 4 starting OL and that maybe this wasn't a good week to play them.

He rerouted to Buffalo at my behest. 😬
