October reading wrap-up! Somehow I managed to read more books than September, despite October being especially chaotic. Mix of mostly digital ARCs & library books, with one physical library book from the stack I checked out earlier in the month. If you have a free library, use it! #BookSky 💙📚

21 book covers from my October reads. Too many to describe, lots of great authors like John Scalzi, Lynn Painter, and Mhairi McFarlane. Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jiminez made me ugly-cry, the main story line of caring for a parent with dementia hit a bit too close to home.

I need a smaller life. I need better boundaries and I need to say "no" more. I need a nap and it's only 9am. I also need cookies, and I don't care if it's only 9am. I need breakfast cookies to become an accepted thing.

This was a new one for me. Would I drive 75 miles round trip to deliver a $10 item for free? If not, would I ship it for free? No & no. I'm not Amazon. 🙄 I try to be accommodating but I'd lose money on those options. When I get unreasonable requests like this, it's so hard to answer politely.
