No, the First Amendment means he could not be sued, any more than "The Nation" could be sued for promoting left-wing viewpoints and not giving "equal time" to right-wing ones. You're allowed to be biased! It's a major reason the 1A exists!

Both left and right really, really, want the government to have the power to regulate speech.

They differ only in *which* speech they want to regulate, and, like all bookburners, cannot imagine the laws they lust for could be turned on them.

(Hell, a lot of the US was originally settled by the Spanish. If Mexico is not "Western", neither is Florida, Texas, or Califonia, to name a few.) (And another huge chunk was settled by the French. Detroit ought to be pronounced "day-twa.")

It's as in "the West" as the United States is, and that's the "western culture" the racists claim to be preserving.

A nation which began as English colonies is no more or less "Western" than one which began as Spanish, Portugeuse, or French colonies.

Might be time to adapt Asimov's robot stories, closer to how they were originally written, as their premise was "There is no rogue AI, just humans who don't understand how the AI is applying the rules it is following."

(This overlaps with, but is not identical to, stories where the sprites in a video game are people, ala Wreck It Ralph or a gazillion anime. It's CLOSE, but those are identifiable as characters in their 'real' form, vs. a spreadsheet or a password program being humanoid inside the machine.)

AFAIK, and I am happy to be proven wrong (because it would mean I'd be discovering awesome media I didn't know about) it was the first "world inside the computer" story, where programs and processes were anthorpomorphized.

Yeah, it's not like Maduro is an authoritarian with honor or principles or some other minor redeeming factor that would actually make him NOT get along with Trump. It's not the "communism" -- look at Trump and Kim. It's not being Latin American -- look at Trump and Bukele.
