The narrative that a muscular Black man in circuit/leather will always have a preference for White men is false and more damaging to the community than people realize because it creates fractures instead of galvanizing it, thus alienating a subset of men who enjoy something different.

Anyway the point is this: Attacking someone from your own community for their choices; be it a leather life, a partner from another race or any other reason that has NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU is the fastest way to alienate them and make them feel unsafe.

But to be clear, of all the Black men I've dated, most couldnt be seen with me because they feared death and I feared death because of a homophobic country. And the ones I've dated in the US did NOT want to be seen with me. And the one that did, I married... and he lied schemed and cheated.

I should be over this by now. I should be used to it based on the frequency of comments like this. According to their logic, the fact that I dated two white men in my whole life now means I have a "preference for the pale" meanwhile every other person I've dated has been Black or Latino.
