Federal agents in Portland shoved a protester to the ground and then fired pepper balls at another as they tried to help.

Safe to describe this as unnecessary force as they cleared the driveway.

Feds arrest one person at the Portland ICE facility at around 7:30. The reason is again unclear, but it was likely for stepping over the blue line. They were dragged into the facility by five agents while one filmed.

Seeing Ms. Rachel say exactly what needs to be said to Obama is so damn refreshing

Dear President Obama,
I saw in your statement you said "Israeli families" & "the people of Gaza."
Palestinians have families, too.
This kind of language contributes to dehumanization. Dehumanization is part of what caused so many to stay silent as 20,000 children were killed in this genocide.
I've sat with wonderful Palestinian families from Gaza. They look at their children just like we look at ours - with all the love & hope in the world.

I’m volunteering for an early Field Trip day these next 2 Fridays at the museum. Next Friday we have a group of 2-8 graders and the following we have a group of high schoolers coming in. They can both enjoy our small haunted house we have set up this month, too. We have such a great little museum.
