Look, for the third day this week, a delivery I stayed home to receive just didn’t turn up, but on the plus side, on the way into work I was able to get a katsu sandwich, so that’s nice.

Parents, please check your kids’ candy this Halloween. I’ve just found an ancient metal whistle with the inscription “QUIS EST ISTE QUI VENIT" inside a Snickers bar. I blew it and heard a note of infinite distance, and now I’m haunted by a figure in pale, fluttering draperies. Be safe.

Exactly! Whereas it’s funny, our old house before this one, Kimiko would use the back and I would use the front, but that’s because she would drive and I would walk (and the driveway ends near the back door, while the front door went out onto the sidewalk).

You ever order two pizzas and they were two distinctly different pizzas and when they arrive you have a slice of each and realise they taste almost the same and you’d be worried except that taste is Pizza which is one of the good tastes so you just eat it?
