While I believe reviewers were important, integral to artistic culture, I loathe critics that use their platform to try to dunk on art with mean spirited wit. Cruelty toward the people who make the things you experience is little more than vanity.

Picked up some nifty new comics out this week: Mary Sue by @megfitz89.bsky.social and @lisasterle.bsky.social, and Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere by @lonnienadler.bsky.social and @dennismenheere.bsky.social.

Just picked up my set of Decent to Nowhere issue 1. I’m so excited by this series, it’s very clear so much love went into it, I’m already sad it will only be four issues.

Super fun to see it in the shop. The foil cover didn’t come in but I’m hoping I can still snag one.

I genuinely cannot believe we are finally getting a full P.T. game.

It was the most influential horror game of the last decade and it was only a demo… I can only imagine the impact a full game will have, especially with Kojima at the height of his bizarre power.

I have had a strange relationship with IT FOLLOWS.

When I saw it in theatres I thought I was witnessing a new generation’s version of Halloween. That faded and for years I felt it was overrated.

After numerous viewings since, I now consider it among the best horror movies of the century.

Consensus so far is it’s too esoteric and puzzling for most publishers. We will try to find a way to bring this to life one way or another. It’s a story world we know is odd but begs to live and to be read.
