built a browser extension for Firefox, submitting it to the store

Firefox complains if you leave out the `data_collection_permissions` that specifies what user data you collect

it also complains if you leave it empty

Firefox really wants you to collect user data 🫠

working with codex as a test, and noticing it doesn't say "You're absolutely right!"

which is nice, but I also miss it - because it's making so many mistakes that I have to correct it on 🫠

OpenAI's codex does not know about OpenAI's API (specifically the response_format param)

I see all these people on the big subs of Claude/GPT maxing out their limits each day

yet, I can't seem to max out my regular limits, but still build more than I can ship

my strategy of "f*ck $200 p/m for 1 provider, I'll take 3 $20 p/m providers" is working

security "researchers" :

please stop using [unsupervised] AI to detect "security issues" with websites looking for bounties.

these have been affecting open-source projects for a while (i.e. curl), but now they're also being used for bogus website reports 😬

Sentry remains one of the GOAT'd open-source projects that you can self-host

the upgrade process is just so sleek, fault tolerant, and the UX is 🧑‍🍳 👌

just upgraded a 2-year-old instance, with a few steps in the version ladder, but without any issues
