The public doesn't have the numbers to say that with any certainty so you get people like the OP spitballing garbage like 100/300 when it likely would have to be closer to 275/325. There's just too much of a gap to get there in one CBA, so all you'll see is owners trying to firm up the CBT threshold

No one has yet proposed a cap/floor that would do that. The owners won't and the players sure won't either. Manfred might want one for his "legacy" but a remotely fair floor would start north of $200m which ownership will never agree to.

This is why ownership hasn't seriously proposed a cap despite how much they talk about one. They'd have to put all kinds of revenue on the table that they don't want to admit exists.
